  7. The Maxpeed VWS Base Unit works with the VGA MaxStation Multiconsole
  8. Controller (SV-2, SV-4).  The VWS Base Unit is extremely slim measuring only
  9. 12x12x1.75 inches making it perfect as a monitor platform.  It is fully self
  10. contained and provides VGA color output, serial, parallel, and keyboard
  11. connections.  It features an on/off switch, front panel power and activity
  12. LEDs and an internal buzzer.  The on-board serial and parallel ports can be
  13. shared on the system as independent devices.  The VWS base unit can be located
  14. up to 300 feet from the host computer and connects directly to the host via
  15. 10-wire shielded twisted pair phone cabling (RJ-48).  The VWS Base Unit is
  16. backed by a limited 5 year parts and labor warranty.
